I get some strange questions around here there is no doubt about that. Recently I was asked a very interesting one: This fellow asked, Peter please answer me: who stole my BustedTee? Now when I got this request I was momentarily baffled. What on earth is a BustedTee? But after a little Googling around I had my answer - it is a website on which you can buy some of the coolest t-shirts around. Every one is unique. No wonder he came to Peter Answers trying to find who stole his t-shirt!
This website has a very interesting story. They have not been around long, only since 2004. It started as a couple of guys who were already running a college humor web site. This is their description for why they start a t-shirt business:
We decided to start making T-shirts because we want people to have fun, laugh, look good, feel comfortable, get good jobs, get sweaty dancing, and go home with someone who also did those things.
Now that’s as good a reason as any! Each of the designs is unique and they have a way where you can even submit your own designs and maybe you will show up on one of their t-shirts. Who wants to design a cool t-shirt for Peter Answers?
You will be very happy with the quality of these t-shirts as they are mostly printed on American Apparel which are known as some of the best quality t-shirts. The make their t-shirts in a sweatshop free zone in the good old U S of A.

Who designs the BustedTees shirts?
The BustedTees creative process starts with the writers of CollegeHumor, our sister website. Every week we get together and brain storm. The best ideas go to our graphic designer and the rest is cotton!
Washing Instructions?
All of BustedTees’ products are made with American Apparel’s 100% preshrunk combed cotton knit fabric. Expect about 5-7% shrinkage after normal wash. Wash warm, dry low. Although you should not expect any significant fading, wash colors separately from whites, especially on the first wash.
Can I submit my own idea?
Yes! Just send in your own original idea to ideas@bustedtees.com. If we like it you’ll get $150 plus a free shirt with your idea on it. PS- You don’t have to be an artist, you can submit your ideas in text and our design team can take it from there.
