I get a lot of comments here from people who are struggling to figure out why Peter does not work for them. Of course, Peter Answers does not work for everyone - you must be reverent and faithful to make it work. Or at least have someone at the keyboard who is.
I’d like to respond to a recent email from a reader that looked like this:
I don’t understand it , he doesn’t work at all.
He’s just saying : I’ll answer on this quetion later.
Short of things these are all aall liess!!
Only God can know our future!!
Not a website?????!!!!!
So here is a God-fearing person who was exposed to the Peter Answers game and they decided to give it a try, only to be frustrated when it didn’t work. That frustration then led them to say, effectively, “well I knew it would not work because only God can know our future not Peter Answer!”
But then I would ask them, “if you knew that already, why even try the game?” Why get so frustrated when it doesn’t work? My guess - they wanted to believe in something other than God. They wanted to say, Peter Please Answer Me and they wanted Peter to respond in a magical and mystical way so that their own beliefs could be validated.
Instead what continue to get validated are the beliefs they were taught growing up that they want to rebel against - that only God knows their future.
Here is a suggestion - if you really believe that only God can tell your future then don’t try to disprove it by playing a fortune teller game!

No duh Peter is FAKE. you type the answer in the petition and it shows up as if your writing the actual question. To get it to work you just put a period, then the answer, then finish typing the petition. sheesh.

[...] Peter Answers and Ask Jud are not the only fun ways to play tricks on your friends. One of the more interesting prank sites I have seen recently is called Strange Reports - a site that promises to build realistic websites with your friends information. Here is how they describe it: Send you victim to the web address that you create. Your victim will read a fake news report with his or her name in it. it will totally shock them. They will think they really are a criminal, cigarette thief, have an overdue library book, or whatever you choose. [...]

Any interesting theory.
