I’ve written before about how I am collecting interesting tricks, pranks and gags that you can play on your friends, rather than necessarily focusing on Peter Answers all the time. In Use These Tricks to SHOCK and AMAZE Your Friends and MORE Tricks to SHOCK and AMAZE Your Friends I shared some interesting tricks such as The Frozen Computer Screen, The Dancing Dime and The Counting Card Trick.

Now this time I am going to do things a little differently. Rather than share with you some specific pranks I am going to share three really good repositories of pranks, which is really just a big fancy word that means you can find thousands of pranks if you would like!

So in no certain order:

Planet Wally: Wide World of Pranks
Planet Wally is more than just pranks but I really like the site they have dedicated to the art, which they describe as one of the finest collections of pranks on the Web. They say they guarantee that every one of these pranks works and I believe them! Their Gift Cards With No Cash is simply EVIL!

The Art of the Prank
The Art of the Prank or Pranks.com as it is known, is produced and edited by Joey Skaggs. Here you will find insights, information, news and discussions about pranks, hoaxes, culture jamming & reality hacking around the world – past, present and future – mainstream and counter culture. It’s written in a blog format which means it is updated frequently and is easy to read. In particular I liked perusing through his category called The History of Pranks where you will find some very fascinating pranks and historical information regarding pranks.

The Prank Institute
The Prank Institute or Pranks.org as it is known, is a forum that has collected literally thousands of pranks from readers across a large number of categories including Office Pranks, School Pranks, Computer Pranks, you name it Pranks. You can’t go wrong checking out the hilarity here! And since it is a forum you can participate too.

Looking for pranks other than Peter Answers? Then check out some of these great sites!

By the way, I would be remiss in not mentioning my favorite prank book A Little Giant Book: Tricks & Pranks (Little Giant Books) which is very low cost and available for purchase right now on Amazon! Check it out.

Now I know that many of you like pranks and tricks – after all, that is why you are checking out the online fortune teller Peter Answers. And as I have shown in some of my previous posts, there are a lot of great online pranks to play on your friends. But tonight I am going to tell you about what is no question the best phone prank ever!

Imagine this scenario. Your victim, who has a huge crush on Selena Gomez, gets a phone call. When they look at the caller id on their phone who does it show ringing but Selena Gomez herself! But it isn’t her, it’s really you. Normally of course your phone number and name would appear on the caller id but somehow you managed to change it. And in fact it wouldn’t just be Selena’s name – you could use any name you wanted!

How is this possible? Through an amazing new product called SpoofCard.com. What is SpoofCard? Check out this description:

SpoofCard offers the ability to change what someone sees on their caller ID display when they receive a phone call. Simply dial the toll free number and then your PIN. You’ll then be prompted to enter the destination number followed by the phone number to appear on caller ID. It’s that easy!

How easy is that?

There are a number of different options available for purchasing SpoofCard and you can get it for as low as $10! That gives you 60 minutes of calling. Imagine how many prank calls you could make with 60 minutes on your phone card? Talk about cheap phone calls! Did I say phone card? I meant SpoofCard!

And best yet, if you order using this link you get an additional 10% off: Get 10% Off SpoofCard With Coupon Code 0808!

So who is going to write back a comment with the best prank, that’s what I would like to know. Your friend having trouble in school? Give him a call during dinner time and use your teacher’s name! Imagine his surprise when he sees his teacher calling during dinner. How about this one, this would be so mean: Your friend has been hoping upon hoping to be invited to the spring dance by Sally. Just when he thought there was no chance, there is the phone ring and it is her! Magical! SpoofCards make great best friend gift ideas!

People – Peter Answers is a good prank and well worth the time. But SpoofCard is awesome. What are you waiting for? Get pranking!

This is my second list of cool tricks. Read the original tricks to fool your friends.

I have started to compile a list of interesting ways to trick and fool your friends. These pranks range from magic tricks, to logic games, to free online fortune tellers like Peter Answers and Ask Jud. Don’t use these jokes and pranks up all at once! Use only one at a time so you can have them coming back for more. Peter Answers is a prank to some who don’t believe, but these are truly pranks to everyone.

So without further ado, here is the second batch of tricks to fool your friends:

The Frozen Computer Screen. This prank required you to have some alone time with your friends Windows XP computer. It should also work with Vista. Bascially what you do is to do a screen capture of the screen icons and all, and then use that image as the background for their desktop. Hiding the taskbar is all that is needed to complete the image. Your friend will try to click on their icons and nothing will work, it will be like the computer is frozen. Great prank!

Ask Jud. Ask Jud is a Peter Answers clone for the Web 2.0 crowd. The answers you will get from Jud are the same as peteranswers, but it comes in a much more enjoyable “skin.” I think it is personal preference as to whether you use Ask Jud or Peteranswer.

The Floating Egg. This trick is a kitchen trick that will require a little bit of setup. You need two identical glasses filled with water, one that you have added some salt to and keep hidden. Put an egg into the glass with the water with no salt and the egg will sink to the bottom. Tell your friend to close their eyes, swap the glasses, and then give the command to “float”. That egg will float to the top because of the water in the glass. Granted, this trick isn’t as interesting as Peter Answers because it requires some setup, but still I think it is interesting.

That’s it for this week, I’ll be back with more later. If you use one of these tricks to shock and amaze your friends please leave a comment and let Peter know!

I have started to compile a list of interesting ways to trick and fool your friends. These pranks range from magic tricks, to logic games, to free online fortune tellers like Peter Answers and Ask Jud. My suggestion is that you use them sparingly, once per month or so. No reason to use them all at the same time, you want to have some tricks in your back pocket should you ever be in a situation that calls for having some fun!

So without further ado, here is the first batch of tricks to fool your friends:

The Dancing Dime. This is a very easy to do coin trick that requires minimal props (a table cloth, glass, 4 quarters and a dime) and would be a great trick to play at a restaurant with your friends. The link is a video so it makes it very clear how to play the prank. See if you can figure out how to do it before watching the whole video.

The Cigarette Trick. This is a good bar trick best done when your friends are hammered. I wish there was a video that showed this better, but the good news is the props are minimal – only a cigarette!

AIM Prank. A very interesting prank to play on your friends if they are using AIM Instant Messenger. Might be a good way to get some private information from them too!

Peter Answers. Free online fortune teller that can really shock and amaze your friends. Use this virtual tarot to have a really good time fooling your friends. Read this website to learn more about how best to use Peter Answers.com.

The Counting Card Trick. Nice video explaining an oldie but a goodie. This should be one of the first card tricks that you learn. Simple card trick with nosetup required.

That’s it for this week, I’ll be back with more later. If you use one of these tricks to shock and amaze your friends please leave a comment and let Peter know!

Peter Answers and Ask Jud are not the only fun ways to play tricks on your friends. One of the more interesting prank sites I have seen recently is called Strange Reports – a site that promises to build realistic websites with your friends information. Here is how they describe it:

Send you victim to the web address that you create. Your victim will read a fake news report with his or her name in it. it will totally shock them. They will think they really are a criminal, cigarette thief, have an overdue library book, or whatever you choose.

Here are some examples of the fake stories you can make up:

Overdue Book Notice
Missed Lotto Deadline
Favorite Rock Band
Nose Pickers Society
Police Warrants
Toilet Paper Thief
Fake Search Site
Enema Thief
Hacker News
Censor Everything
Jock Strap Thief
Portable Toilet Criminal
Cigarette Butt Thief
Look like a Redneck

The sites that get created are pretty real looking and I can see where this could get people thinking. It is not as quick and interactive as Peteranswers, but for people that have already overused that trick it could be something worth playing with.
