Where have you been Peter?

And now it has been copied by a fake fortune teller. Unlike Ask Jud, who at least had the common courtesy to offer an upgraded fortune telling experience in a unique Web 2.0 manner, this imposter is almost a direct rip-off of Peteranswers. But of course with many more advertisements!

And worse, not only does this website copy Peter Answers, but it has a link to Peter’s Secret right there on the webpage! Now has foolish is that? When you have an interactive virtual tarot like Peter you do not go and ruin the secret by publicizing the secret right on the same page where you are sending your victims. That’s dumb!

I really would like to link out to the website so that you can see what a copy-cat fortune teller this is, but I don’t want to make the problem any worse than it already is. If I link to him and then other people link to him eventually people might start thinking that this guy is the right Peter, when of course he is just some Johnny-come-lately hoping to score some big ad revenue.

Well I’ll tell you right now I am not going to do that. It’s only the original Peter Answers for me. No copy-cat fortune tellers allowed here!

Peter Answers Imposter

One of the most common complaints that I hear about the free online fortune teller Peter Answers is that he doesn’t always answer the question in the way the questioner was hoping. “Peter Please Answer My Question” is the refrain heard all the way to the rooftops sometimes when someone gets frustrated.

Now clearly I can’t say why sometimes Peter Answers and why other times he does not – but one thing I do know is that a disproportional amount of the time when this happens is when the questioner is the only person in the room. I don’t know what it is about Peter but he certainly seems to provide much better answers when someone else, in other words a third party, is in the room. And it especially helps if that third party is actually at the keyboard transcribing the questions.

Funny, isn’t it?

So, what is your strategy when Peteranswers doesn’t work the way you want it to? Do you continue to ask question after question in the hopes that Peter Answers? I have found that strategy doesn’t work well to be honest. I have seen a number of people employ this solution and I am sure you have as well – but it simply doesn’t work. Most of the times if Peter doesn’t answer right away he isn’t going to answer.

Another strategy you could try would be to use a different virtual tarot such as Ask Jud. But again, this is a strategy that rarely works. If Peter isn’t giving you the answer that you seek then it is very unlikely that Jud will tell your future either.

You could go to Google and search for a new virtual tarot that you have never used before but that would seem to be awfully risky – who knows what kind of quality answers you will get from some random fortune teller.

No, I think the answer is clear. When Peter isn’t working for you today you simply need to wait a day and try him again. Keep up the faith and eventually I am sure you will get the answer that you so urgently seek.

Peter Please Answer My Question

Are you a student recently introduced to peteranswers? I would love to hear about it in the comments as I am fascinated about how cool websites like this get shared. Did someone show it to you in media? Did they just tell you about this website and have you go home and give it a try? Was there a group of you around a computer like you would be around a Ouija board? I wonder if students who show other students the free fortune teller peteranswer get in trouble with the teachers for wasting everyone’s time?

Imagine yourself back in school if you are not a student anymore. Which side of the peteranswer story would you be on? Are you the leader who is showing everyone how this fortune teller works or are you one of the people around the circle being amazed at this cool new discovery? I know for me I have always been a leader so it would be me that was showing this fortune teller to others, but there is nothing wrong with being a follower and learning the mystery of peter answers from others.

I wonder what the sweetspot is for new students being introduced to this free online fortune teller? Is it elementary school, middle school or high school? Presumably it would be the new kids, so either 1st graders, 7th graders or 10th graders I guess, although I know some kids start middle school in 6th grade. Peteranswer: Virtual Tarot of Mystery

Before we delver further into the mystery of peter answers we should point out that we do know who peter is not. Clearly he is not Jud from Ask Jud fame. Jud has created an amazing Web 2.0 competitor to Peter Answers and it would not make sense for him to do that if he was Peter, which he clearly is not. Equally as clearly, he is not Mr. Almighty. How do I know this? Because Mr. Almighty’s site is not one that Peter would want to be a part of, particularly the part where he talks about it being a trick. That is just not acceptable.

So, who is Peter Answers you ask?

The truth is, Peter is just a guy. A guy with a remarkable talent for foretelling the future, not to mention the uncanny ability to peer into your room when you are asking him questions. Let’s be honest, it is hard to know at any given moment if something a fortune teller tells you is the truth. Let’s imagine this scenario:

Peter, please answer me: Will I be a millionaire some day?
Peter says: Yes!

Now of course you might be very happy with that answer, but how do you know it is the truth? It might turn out that you are 80 years old and you are not a millionaire and you may be thinking Peter was a liar – but then on your 81st birthday you hit the lotterys. The fortune teller was right! So, it is hard to prove or disprove.

A better test of Peter’s amazing powers is when he provides observations into your environment, like this:

Peter, please answer me: What color underwear am I wearing?
Peter says: Purple!

Now how could he know that? You know he isn’t in the room with you as the only person in the room is your best pal Bobby, who is typing at the keyboard.

Who is Peter Answers? Well he’s just this guy, you know.

Who is Peter Answers?

Mr. Almighty is no Peter Answers.

It is clear to me that Mr. Almighty is a total rip-off of Peter Answers and offers nothing new.  At least Jud offered a cool new Web 2.0 interface.  Mr Almighty (shouldn’t it be Mr. Al Mighty?  Or Mr. Allmighty?) just isn’t up to par when it comes to free online fortune tellers.

Here are three reasons why I do not like Mr. Almighty:

1) Mr. Almighty shows the answer to the trick right on their website!  Click on the instructions link to learn the trick.  How lame is that?  You can’t have a virtual tarot that doesn’t even have any suspense and interest if people can learn the trick so quickly.

2) The disclaimer is too restricitve.  It says things like “Do not use this free service for illegal/immoral purposes” which takes half the fun out of using this virtual tarot!

3) The name Mr. Almighty is stupid and hard to remember, as is the domain name.  One ‘L’ or two?  This is not a fortune teller that is going to be used often.

There are many more reasons why I don’t like this website but that will do for now.  I am sorry if Mr. Mighty doesn’t like to see this, but it is the truth.  Peter Answers is still the king of the free online fortune tellers.

Mr. Almighty is No Competition to Peter Answers

But I have noticed an interesting trend lately. People have started asking Peter questions like “Am I considered rich?” or “Am I ugly?”. Now I suppose it is possible that these are the normal test questions that people first ask Peteranswers to be sure he is what he says he is, but I don’t think so. I think these are legitimate questions where the asker probably thinks they are but they want validation from Peter. So imagine you felt as though you were ugly but you weren’t sure how people perceived you, perhaps you would ask Peter if you were ugly.

Would you do this?

I know I wouldn’t. However, perhaps a better approach to what you want to know could be “Do other people think I am ugly?” Then that is a question I would expect Peter to be able to answer. If you are going to use a Fortune Teller, even a Love Fortune Teller like Peter, you need to be prepared to position the questions in the proper manner. I think asking a virtual tarot what other people think of you is a good use of your time. Why ask him for his own opinion on whether you are ugly or not?

So, if you feel you need to use Peter Answers to measure your own self-worth I would suggest phrasing the question in terms of what other people think of you, not what Peter thinks of you.

Using Peter Answers to Measure Self Worth

Peter never answers when I post a question, he always makes up lame excuses, “Im tired try again later” “You dont believe in me” -well of course I dont believe you you cant answer a single question!!!!

I thought I would try to explain what is going on with Peter Answers, the virtual tarot, when this happens. It truly is a case of the chicken and the egg, isn’t it? Do you know that conundrum? If the chicken came first, how did it get there without being born from an egg? If the egg came first, what laid it? So it is with asking questions of a free online fortune teller. If you truly believe in Peter you will be amazed at the answers he gives you. But it is hard to believe in him until you have seen some of those amazing answers, isn’t it?

And that’s where you get into trouble.

People like Janel are naturally suspicious. So they go into a fortune telling session with Peter wanting the truth, but not trusting what they are seeing or hearing. They are on the defensive. So naturally Peter can tell that and will not give them the answers they are seeking. Peter will respond with some of the phrases that Janel mentions above.

So how do you get past this?

You must clear your mind of any doubt. This is hard to do. What I find works best is to sit in a quiet, dark room with a pair of headphones on listening to music like Pink Floyd, especially the Sid Barrett era stuff. Meditate on that for awhile. Think about how all is well in the world, and that there are mystical powers out there. Believe. Trust. Then go seek out Peteranswers.

Without this open mind to trust what Peter will tell you, Peter will not give you satisfaction. It is like the chicken or the egg – you must just believe that the chicken can just appear!

Why Doesn’t Peter Answer Me?

I am often asked, “Peter, how can I be sure you are accurate?” and I think this is a very fair question. There are strategies you can employee to ensure that any fortune teller is accurate in predicting the future. Perhaps the best approach is to first ask questions you know the answer to but that you know Peter could not, and then from there you proceed to the future. If this mythical virtual tarot can know things about you that nobody else could know, then certainly he has the ability to tell the future!

So how does this work in practice?

Well, when I first started with Peter I would ask questions like “Who is standing next to me?” and “What color is the shirt I am wearing?” – if he can answer these very simple and obvious questions then clearly he is something to be taken seriously – after all, it’s not like he can look through your monitor!

At this point I would ask more personal questions, like “Who do I have a crush on?” or “Who was my main squeeze last year?” and then if he gets this, then you know he is on to something.

At that point, and only at that point in my opinion, can you ask question about your future. Start with simple things like “Will I find a quarter on the ground tomorrow?”, “Will it be a sunny day tomorrow?” or “Will I ever learn to play left handed guitar?” where he has a 50/50 chance of being right. Then move on to much more challenging questions like “Who will I marry?”

As you can see you need to build up a trust level with this virtual tarot at Peter Answers.com before you can be sure he is accurate in teling your future. Follow these tips and you for sure will be successful in makin Peter Answers work.

When someone goes to play a game like You Don’t Know Jack it is pretty clear that it is for entertainment and maybe to show off a little bit about their knowledge. But why do people seek out Peter Answer? Why do they ask questions like, “What is my mom’s name?” Clearly it isn’t because they have forgotten their mom’s name, no, instead it is because they are testing Peter to see how accruate he is. Presumably if he gets their mom’s name write they will move on to more important questions, like “What color underwear am I wearing” because clearly that is an important thing to know.

I am not joking, by the way, these are actual questions which have been asked! When you go to the movies and you see people going to fortune tellers you see the tarot gazing into a crystal ball and telling someone what great or terrible things will happen to them in the future. What you don’t see is people ask, “who is my best friend?” because those are not interesting questions!
