Numerology is any of many systems, traditions or beliefs in a mystical or esoteric relationship between numbers and physical objects or living things. I haven’t look at numerology much before but this post was very interesting to me where it shows in some detail how you can see what your name means in numbers.

When working with a name, numbers have corresponding letters. The numbers are added up and broken down into single digits in order to give you your final Destiny Number. I won’t repeat the conversion chart here, but I went through the steps to calculate the meaning of my own name.

After you calcuate your score this adds up to be your destiny number. You then do a lookup to see what thiis destiny number means. My destiny number was a 5 which means I am bold, temperamental, and sensual. There is also a page where you can find more deeper meanings, which for me was:

With a Destiny Number of 5 you must represent freedom to find fulfillment. To live up to your destiny you must work to embrace change and not fear it or cling to the familiar in your life. It doesn’t mean rushing blindly into something new, however keeping yourself open to change and taking on new opportunities, challenges and adventures when they present themselves will lead to your ultimate happiness.
