Best of Peter Answers
So you have been playing peteranswers for awhile now, having fun with your friends and freaking people out. What I would like to hear about are some good stories about how people reacted when you first showed them the interactive fortune teller. How long did it take them to figure out the secret? Did you tell them right away or let them suffer for awhile without telling them how the mystery worked? Was there ever anyone to whom you showed the trick but then didn’t tell them that it was a trick so they stayed freaked out? That would be funny, but maybe not so nice!
I was talking to someone the other day who told me about their first experience with Peter Answers. He was surfing the internet for some cool youtube videos when he decided to show peter answer to his buddy. He started out pretending he had just found the site, and he played it really cool at first, not making really obvious answers, just making it seem close. Like he would ask, “what is my name?” and peter would answer “well I know you are a guy.”
But then after a few questions he got more and more specific and his friend really started freaking out! This is a great way to play the game, and maybe you could even intersperse some wrong answers or at least some really obtuse answers to not make it obvious. That will make it more realistic.
